Theresa Miley began her insurance agency in 1994 in the small town of Sumter, SC. Over more than two decades, she has proudly helped protect hundreds of families across the state. Today, Theresa is one of only eight agents in South Carolina with two office locations, serving from Irmo and Columbia. Our team’s commitment to putting customers’ insurance needs first has been key to our continued success.

As a State Farm Ambassador Travel Qualifier and SVP Qualifier, Theresa continues to pursue excellence in service. Beyond protecting families, she is a passionate advocate for local elementary schools and their teachers. The Good NeighBear program, which she helped launch, celebrates and supports educators with a simple gesture of gratitude. Each month, nine elementary schools in Irmo and Columbia participate, including Irmo, Oak Pointe, H.E. Corley, River Springs, Round Top, Leaphart, Harbison, Nursery Road, and Ballentine Elementary Schools. Thank you to these schools for being Good NeighBears in their communities!

Community involvement is central to Theresa and her team. Many team members volunteer regularly at local events, organizations, and churches. Theresa leads by example as an active member and long-time sponsor of the Blythewood Chamber of Commerce. She has also served on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands and remains a dedicated supporter of the University of South Carolina, her alma mater.
